in santa rosa, good morning napa, 3 is for you. the delta and concord. 36 san jose with 52 half moon bay and 32 gilroy. compared to yesterday morning, we are just about the same. maybe a degree cooler or warmer, depending on where you are. overall we are looking at the stable, chilly temperatures in the morning and then for the afternoon numbers just on the other side of the low to mid-60s. 4-mile visibility around santa rosa. the high surf advisory once again today through 4:00 and then mild afternoon temperatures through tuesday. we will look for this big ridge of high pressure eventually to break down after tuesday. here's a look at the high surf advisory with the swells beginning to build, 8 feet outside san francisco and half moon bay. perhaps up to 20 feet this afternoon with strong rip currents and large breaking waves possible. we have the surface high to the east of us over novato and the flow around the high, the clockwise flow, allowing for the offshore winds once again today. so with that, a little breezy at times. that air mass is pretty cool, but we will stay dry with t

are in and we are 27 now in santa rosa so black ice is a possibility. there is fog and visibility down to half a mile. 30 in fair feed and concord. those are the other freezing spots. 41 in antioch and 48 in san francisco and 43 in novato. we have temperatures in the upper 30's and upper 40's from monterey bay at 47. and gilroy flirting with frost at 33. more warming in the afternoon hours. we also still have poor air quality. rough surf of the enjoy the 60's and sunshine at the beaches. the next rain may not be until next month. all models are very dry through the beginning of february. today is the 18th. so that is a couple of weeks. napa, four degrees warmer and 63 and redwood city is 64 and san jose is 5 and extra were is 63. livermore, 63. oakland, 65, seven degrees warmer-than-average. and 65 in santa rosa and san jose the warmest weather, fremont, the warmest at 66 and fairfield is coolest at 60. upper 60's in the monterey bay to upper 60's to low 70's inland. tonight there is a a chance of scattered frost and mid-30's to around the low 40s. a sneaker wave tonight through tomorr

outside this morning. temperatures in the mid-40's in santa rosa, fairfield, concord, upper 40's to low 50's elsewhere, and the monterey bay, here's the newest temperatures, upper 40's to low 50's and the cool spot at 44 degrees. rain develops and cooler conditions today and scattered showers tonight through thursday and cooler scattered showers saturday, sunday and monday. it will be chilly with a chance of rain. check out this huge system developing and trapping the miscellaneous, we will get a healthy amount of rain. we will get up to three quarters of an inch at the highest elevations and along the coast. you can see the rain developing steady headed to lunch hour and into the afternoon hours and when the evening commute is ending at 7:00 or 8:00, it will be scattered showers through thursday morning and light scattered sures are possible on thursday. headed into friday we will get a break with temperatures in the mid-50's to 60 and the second system comes down great alaska and we are in the mid-50's over the weekend with possible mountain snow in the highest peaks above 4,000'.

put us? upper 20's in santa rosa, san rafael, livermore, fairfield, 26 or 30 in napa and concord and los gatos and freezing, now, second day in a row, in redwood city, near freezing in san jose and 34 in mountain view and 38 in oakland and 41 in san francisco for the warm spot. everyone is freezing around the monterey bay and inland but salinas is not too far behind. we will have a lot of sunshine that will moderate this air mass tonight is our last night of wide-spread frost inland. it will be mostly sunny and warmer. ready for 60's? that is what we have this weekend. we have low-to-mid 50's in most neighborhoods and santa rosa and oakland around 58 and 57 and warmer around the monterey bay and mid-to-upper 50's and tonight we have 30's inland the best chance of profit and mid-30's to low 40's around the bay shore and to the coast. here is the accweather forecast, the bay will be in the 60's and we stay low-to-mid 60's through the weekend. not a drop ahead. sue? >> back to the bay bridge. things are mying -- moving nicely. metering lights are off and no problems on the incline a

same as yesterday and santa rosa a degree cooler and you will not notice it. temperatures will be in the mainly low-to-mid 60's this afternoon, and we have 66 at half moon bay, and palo alto and fremont and san jose. and oakland for the warmer spots inland, and 62 in antioch. 69 at monterey. tonight, frost-free forecast. temperatures mostly in the low-to-upper 40's. we have huge wall of water sitting out there, with high clouds breaking off and that is what we will have for the forecast later this afternoon as the system is closer and closer. we will have light showers for tomorrow and they will be scattered through the day at .1" and possibly quarter to .5" of rain on the north coast and then temperatures falling to the 50's for a high this weekend. >> in san jose the stalls bus blocking a right lane of traffic. north 101 ramp to northbound 280, there are 30 people on the bus waiting for another bus to get the folks to where they need to go and a tow truck to get the bus out. i go not see a lot of slowing in the san jose area but it is there. road work southbound 101 from oyster
